We’ve put a comprehensive list of all the VPN providers out there we could find. We’ve currently listed of 90 providers of VPN services, if we’ve missed a company please do let us know. While it’s not possible to test every VPN, we have selected our recommended VPN providers, where we’ve looked at four of these providers in detail and broken the information in an easy manner.
Differences in VPNs
As with any industry, there is a vast difference in what these VPN companies provide, some offer increased flexibility with IP addresses, some compete on cost or support offerings, and then there is the point of speed of their network. We do recommend that you do your research, and make sure that the VPN providers are trustworthy. You are potentially giving them some very private information, i.e. your internet browsing history, so it’s important that you go with a reputable company. You want to make sure your network is secure, whether you are travelling abroad, using public or open WiFi, or even when you are using a non-trusted network, like at a client’s office.
TorrentFreak recent did a survey about what types of logs they keep, and under what conditions would these companies offer up the logs. Cases have occurred where government agencies have requested logs, and depending on the operator, your VPN details may be passed over. Some providers don’t even record logs, so there isn’t any logs to hand over.
What ever is your criteria, we do recommend that you do your research before purchasing. Or better still test a few VPNs at the same time, and see what one you get on with the best.

Last update to our VPN list : 5.2.2013
Ultimate VPN list,

I used 4 VPN providers so far, there are pretty big differences between them, especially in terms of speed. Right now i`m using http://www.sunvpn.com/, good speed, connection doesn`t drop and about 10 servers to choose from. I also used http://strongvpn.com/ in the past, but couldn`t get used to the tedious switching process you have to do if you want to use another server.
My advice for anyone looking for a VPN is to try several in the same time, and stick with the one that works best for you. Any decent provider has a refund policy, so just ask for your refund in a couple of days if you`re not happy with it.
This is a pretty good list ! Thanks for sharing it Paul. I don’t know if I would trust every VPN provider, some of them aren’t very clear of who, where they are which makes me a little suspicious of companies that I’m giving my personal data too. I just wonder which ones are legitimate and which ones are out for making a quick sale.
I saw this list, and thought WOW, there are heaps of providers out there
I didn’t see http://0strikes.net.nz/ or http://wehideu.com/
both are just as good as each other, but the strikes has few more servers than WHU(15 last time) thats why I use strikes as pref.
bookmarked for if I ever need a new provider
thanks Paul (ps should get it to 100 ^_^ nice number)
Hi Kro, I’ve added your suggestion and a few more there now, thanks ! We are currently at 83 and counting !
I am using Hotspot Shield Free VPN to Access all blocked websites and to surf anonymously. It encrypts network traffic, secures your web surfing sessions, stands guard against malware and protects your privacy while you surf the internet anonymously.
Check it out here: http://www.hotspotshield.com
Great list ! I’ve been using one, but due to issues of bandwidth at the weekend and other popular times I’ve been in the market for a new VPN provider. I’m sure one of these will do me
Hi,
You can also check https://securevpn.us. We’re trying to offer a pretty fast service at reasonable prices.
Cheers.
Thanks arsenie, will add to you to the ever expanding list !
A list like this is great, but it would help to have more ratings. I don’t think I would trust just any company with the details of my internet traffic. I mean, there are somethings that I want private, but there are also some things that I don’t think people need to know. They don’t have to be private, but I don’t think that someone needs to know that I visit facebook 10 times a day and my email 20 times a day. My data is mine, and I wonder do any of these VPN services sell this data, like, people who use Facebook and visit this website, visit nike.com , so it would be a good idea to target Adidas ads to them. Or am I just a little too paranoid ?
Any impressive list there ! There is one that I saw, http://securitykiss.com/ I don’t think you have them on your list !
