Proxy or VPN ?

Here is some information about when you would need a proxy, and when you would need a VPN. Proxies tend to work on the browser level, sending internet traffic your browser uses via a 3rd party resource. A VPN , Virtual Private Network, sends all your internet traffic, like internet browser, VOIP (Skype, GoogleTalk), etc.
